Over four years, 140 pupils from Heathland School in Hounslow, west London, have sat Mensa’s test and were deemed bright enough to join the high-IQ society JADWIGA BRONTEAs a comprehensive with grammars near by, Heathland School could be forgiven if it lost out on some of the most able children. Instead, it is thought to have more pupils in Mensa than any other school. In the past four years, 140 have been deemed bright enough to join the high-IQ society. The school in Hounslow, west London, has its highest-achieving pupils sit Mensa tests each year. The school set up a “most-able” programme four years ago, when 120 pupils aged 11-15 sat the exam and 56 qualified to join Mensa.
