Heat claims lives of 4 passengers on Kerala Express


12626 Kerala Express died on Tuesday in Jhansi, allegedly due to high temperature. A release from the Jhansi Division Public Relations Officer (PRO) said three of them died inside the train and one in the Civil Hospital. They have been identified as Balakrishnan (67), Pachaiappan (80), Deivanai (74) and Subbaraiyya. The PRO urged passengers to consume adequate water and contact railway staff in case of any inconvenience. The release said Pachaiappan and Balakrishnan were in the S-8 coach while Deivanai was in S-9.
