An excellent week for Heart of Midlothian ended on a sour note with the news that star defender Craig Halkett could be out of action for a long spell with a serious knee injury, as the casualty list continues to grow at Tynecastle. The Edinburgh outfit capped off a derby victory against Hibs and a League Cup quarter-final success over Aberdeen by claiming a point in Paisley, against a St Mirren side who are one of the premier defensive units in the top flight.
