A procedural hearing on Wednesday heard arguments on whether the case should be conducted through the law courts or by Scottish FA arbitration. A QC representing Hearts and Thistle disagreed. David Thomson QC quoted the Arbitration Act of 2010, which would allow the court to hear the case regardless of Scottish FA rules. Proceedings will resume on Thursday with the remainder of Hearts and Thistle's argument.
