This is the heartbreaking moment a dog chases his owner's car after being abandoned at a lake in California. When the dog refuses to leave his side, the man walks back to his car and gets behind the wheel. The footage shows the poor abandoned pet running after his owner, and almost getting hit by an oncoming car, before the vehicle speeds away. In the video he can be heard saying: 'Hell no, that's your dog man. KCAS said one of its officers found the allegedly abandoned dog, which is now being cared for at a local shelter.
