It’s just really hard to build a digital business on top of an older legacy media business. In the five years since Troy Young came to Hearst as president of Hearst Magazines Digital Media, he’s come to be seen within the company as having reinvented Hearst’s digital business. Young also oversees Hearst Magazines’ international digital business. I caught up with Young recently for a review of where Hearst Magazines Digital Media is headed. It’s been bringing in new, smart, young digital talent to the business.
