Confirming the matter, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Belabo police station Fakhruddin Bhuiyan said a case has been filed by the woman and police have arrested the alleged attacker, Oli Ahmed, 45. The woman’s family member said Oli, son of late Abdul Barik Miah, and father of two, had been harassing her for a long time and raped her when she was home alone. The woman said she has complained several times to Oli’s family about the harassment, but they did not respond. The OC said: “We arrested the alleged after the case was filed and the woman is undergoing medical tests at Narsingdi Sadar Hospital.”
