A veteran actor got into monetary trouble with a filmmaker after he failed to return a few crores he had borrowed. Apparently, he had even mortgaged his Juhu home with the producer-director for the loan. But since he had barely repaid any money, the filmmaker was said to be contemplating legal action. However, he was dissuaded by their common friend, a superstar who assured him that their buddy, who has been going through a bad phase, will pay up if he’s given some more time. Last heard, the veteran actor’s son has committed to do a couple of films for the filmmaker’s production house to repay his debts and free his house from the mortgage.
