Healthcare workers and the over-70s will attend the country's first mass vaccination centres within days, as efforts are ramped up to inoculate large sections of the population following a "rocky" start to the roll-out programme. As well as the Cork City Hall vaccination centre, talks are at an advanced stage about developing similar facilities in Kilkenny and Carlow.
