Hundreds of healthcare professionals have already signed up for a new conference dedicated to obesity and weight management. Registrations for the inaugural Obesity & Weight Management Alliance conference opened last month during National Obesity Awareness Week. Event manager Emily Mayhew said: “Healthcare staff and resources across primary and secondary care are coming under increasing pressure because of the growing number of people living with obesity and weight management challenges. “The interest we have had in the event has been incredible and there’s still time for healthcare professionals to register for their free place.
