Samuel Awoyinfa, AbeokutaThe Ogun State Police Command says it has in its custody a health worker, Yewande Gbadebo, who allegedly used hot knife to inflict injuries on the body of her 17-year-old homehelp, Janet. She said the homehelp had eaten a piece of bread without her approval. She further told the police that she used the hot knife to threaten the victim but never thought the damage on her body could be so severe. Neighbours of the health worker described the arrest of the suspect as long overdue, given the severity of the maltreatment of the homehelp. He said, “The suspect has been arrested, She inflicted injuries on her homehelp with a hot knife.
