Four governors have defended their counties' performance in the Health sector. Council of Governors Health Committee chairman Jack Ranguma (Kisumu), Wycliffe Oparanya (Kakamega), Isaac Rutto (Bomet) and Sospeter Ojaamong (Busia) said that health sector has recorded significance improvements since inception of devolution despite numerous challenges. Ranguma said 1,500 doctors have been hired across the counties in three years.
