(Reuters)CAIRO – 3 May 2021: Head of the central administration for preventive affairs at Egypt's Ministry of Health Mohamed Abdel Fattah urged citizens to strictly adhere to the preventive measures against coronavirus, warning that the next 10 days are the most serious. Abdel Fattah in remarks to media said the severity of this coronavirus wave will ease during the upcoming days. So, far 2 million people have registered to receive the coronavirus vaccine, including 900,000 who have been already vaccinated, Abdel Fattah said. About the coronavirus strain in the virus-ravaged India, Abdel Fattah said it has spread to 17 countries including Iraq and Jordan. This surge is far more than the official numbers, health officials said frequently, urging citizens to stick to the preventive measures against coronavirus in a bid to curb the pandemic spread.
