Minister of Health Khaled Abdel Ghaffar conducts a meeting for the crisis management and central emergency room ahead of Eid Al-Adha - CabinetCAIRO – 14 June 2024: Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, the Minister of Health and Population, has ordered intensifying preparations for providing medical services during the scorching heat expected during Eid Al-Adha. Abdel Ghaffar reviewed the ministry's medical security plan for the Eid Al-Adha celebrations, which will also coincide with the return of Hajj pilgrims to their homes. The ministry's plan encompasses four main pillars: prevention, ambulance services, urgent and critical healthcare, and follow-up and assessment, as outlined by Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the ministry's spokesperson. Eid Al Adha holidayAccording to Cabinet decisions, both public and private sector employees in Egypt will enjoy a week-long holiday to celebrate Eid Al-Adha this year. The holiday will commence on Saturday and continue until Thursday, encompassing the Day of Arafat and all four days of Eid Al-Adha, which begins on Sunday.
