A number of health guidelines have been issued by the Health and Education ministries as the schol term has started for all grades outside the Western Province and for Grades 5, 11 and 13 in the Western Province, stated Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana. He stated that all students should adhere to the health guidelines to ensure a safe school term and all precautions are being taken by the relevant authorities to make sure that the health guidelines are being practiced properly. He further stated that a regular number of 10 to 13 persons are killed in road accidents recently and that the Police will conduct a special operation in this regard.
