Health Minister Zahid Maleque expressed his frustration regarding medical students opting for other professions, such as the administration or police cadre, through the BCS exam. "If medical students choose another profession after dedicating so many years in medical college, there is no need to pursue medicine in the first place," he stated during the orientation class and oath-taking ceremony at Dhaka Medical College on Monday. Thanks to timely efforts, women empowerment is now prevalent throughout Bangladesh, from the National Parliament to the police, court clerks, and the business sector. Through her relentless efforts, women in Bangladesh now play an equal role with men, propelling the nation towards development." Dhaka Medical College Principal Prof Dr Md Shafiqul Alam Chowdhury presided over the meeting.
