Kushtia Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal Judge Munshi Md Moshiar Rahman passed the order on Tuesday. Shariful Islam, 35, was the headmaster of Mujibnagar Amrakanon Primary School in Meherpur where the rape survivor was a part-time teacher. According to court sources, on May 13, 2016, the woman came to Kushtia with Shariful to sit for the Secondary School Teacher Registration Exam. The rape survivor was sent to Kushtia Sadar Hospital. She later filed a case with Kushtia Sadar police station against Shariful.
