Lane Pittman captured the spirit of a nation two years ago when he stood defiantly in the streets of Jacksonville, Florida, to stare down Hurricane Matthew, all while brandishing an American flag and headbanging to Slayer. Pittman has returned to stare down Hurricane Florence, which descended on the lower East Coast Thursday. Pittman posted a new video Friday showing himself in the streets of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, standing against the strong storm winds. Even the Foo Fighters gave him a shoutout back then for his headbanging heroics.
