That was the startling confession of a boy who survived a fire which consumed his family home in Jalan Tepi Laut, Tanjung Sepat early this morning. The boy may just turn out to be the sole witness to what exactly happened to his grandparents and two younger siblings, all of whom died in the tragedy. Since then, a video clip has emerged of the boy claiming that he saw a robber slash his grandparents before setting the house on fire. The boy claimed that he saw his grandparents being attacked by a masked robber, who was armed with a parang, prior to the fire. The boy claimed he survived only because he was hiding in the toilet near the back of the house.
