In order to reach the benefits of the Accident Insurance Scheme to the common people, Accident Insurance Scheme has been introduced with a very low premium amount through Post Offices (Postman, Village Postal Staff) in every nook and cranny of the country. India Post Payments Bank, which operates under the Department of Posts, has launched an accident insurance plan worth Rs 10 lakh at an annual premium of Rs 399. Ndia Post Payments Bank in collaboration with Tata AJG General Insurance and Bajaj Alliance General Insurance is implementing the scheme. Rs 10 Lakh Accident Insurance: Covers up to Rs 10 Lakh against accidental death, permanent total disability, permanent partial disability and stroke.
