The Vancouver International Wine Festival kicks off with the 30th annual Bacchanalia Gala, an aptly-named elite auction to celebrate some of the year's most indulgent bottles. The festival continues to next weekend's star event, when the tasting floor opens with 180 vinyards serving up 4,500 wines. If you don't know what to drink first, On the Coast's expert has some tips.
