Citizen TV's journalist Hassan Mugambi is set to leave Royal Media Services (RMS) to take up a role at the Ministry of Defence. According to an undisclosed source who spoke to The Star, the crime and investigative journalist is currently serving notice ahead of his departure. Upon leaving Citizen TV, the anchor will assume the role of the communication adviser at Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale's office. At Citizen TV, he rose over the ranks from a reporter to a Swahili news anchor. Goin said that her exit from the Royal Media Services (RMS) owned station, is a bittersweet moment.
