The ambassador said he is taking the initiative to issue visas for the Hajj pilgrims, Nazrul said. Over 10,000 Hajj pilgrims are yet to get a visa from Saudi Arabia because of complexities. The Saudi envoy said there are some 3.2 million Bangladeshis in his country who are contributing to both economies. The premier urged the ambassador to take steps to encourage Bangladeshis living in Saudi Arabia to send their remittances through legal channels.
