Nurul Islam Hasib of the Dhaka Tribune and Ashiqur Rahman Opu of ATN News have been elected president and general secretary respectively of the Diplomatic Correspondents Association of Bangladesh (DCAB) on Sunday. Arifuzzaman Mamun, joint secretary; Morshed Hasib, office secretary; and Atiqur Rahman, treasurer are the other elected office bearers. Mir Mostafizur Rahaman of The Financial Express, Porimol Palma of The Daily Star, Pantho Rahman of Channel i, Masum Billah of bdnews24.com, and Israt Jahan Urmi of the DBC News have been elected as members of the executive committee. Robiul Islam of the Industry and Tanzim Polen of the BSS received the same number of votes for the post of vice president. [email protected]
