Nurul Islam Hasib, of Dhaka Tribune, and Ashiqur Rahman Apu of ATN news, have been elected president and general secretary respectively of the executive committee of Diplomatic Correspondents Association, Bangladesh (DCAB) for 2024. The election of DCAB executive committee was held on Sunday in the capital. In the election, Tanjim Anwar (BSS), and Rabiul Haque (Daily Industry) jointly elected Vice President, Joint General Secretary Arifuzzaman (Dainik Amader Somoy), Treasurer Atiqur Rahman (Javabdihi) Office Secretary Morshed Hasib Hasan (Channel 24). Pantho Rahman of Channel I, Mir Mostafizur Rahman of Financial Express, Ishrat Jahan Urmi of DBC, Parimal Palma of Daily Star and Masum Billah of Bdnews 24 have been elected as executive members.
