Has the REAL mastermind of the Great Train Robbery been unmasked?

A notorious London gangster and an England footballer's relative were the real masterminds of the Great Train Robbery, a new book has claimed. The retired British Transport Police superintendent's Great Train Robbery Confidential - which he worked on with robber Tommy Wisbey - claims the pair planned the August 8, 1963, theft. The train was driven a mile and a half to the bridge, where the criminals unloaded £2,631,684 in used notes. But Justin Hill, the gangster's son, told the Observer: 'Billy knew about the robbery but wasn't involved.' This raid was later used as the template for the Great Train Robbery.
