Ms Sturgeon herself has been keen to give the impression of someone who has embarked on a new life outside the cut and thrust of Holyrood. Mr Pedersen, who suggested that Ms Sturgeon had embarked on a "rock star tour" to promote Frankly, asked whether launching herself as a writer had made her happy. Ms Sturgeon said: "I’ve loved it. I feel younger than I have felt in a long, long time. It is a view those close to Ms Sturgeon reject.
