CHANDIGARH: Haryana Women and Child Development minister Kavita Jain on Saturday said that “as a woman” she feels that prohibition should be imposed in the state. She however added that such a move would not work if no such ban existed in the neighbouring states. “As a woman I would say prohibition should be imposed,” she said. “Earlier also probably one of the reasons for prohibition failing in Haryana was that liquor was available in neighbouring states. There were instances when people brought liquor (into the state) in buses and through other means,” she said.
