Haryana announces seven days lockdown from tomorrow


A full lockdown has been declared in the state of Haryana for seven days starting from May 3 (Monday) by the state government. Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij tweeted and gave the information. "Complete lockdown to be imposed in Haryana for seven days from May 3 in wake of the rising COVID-19 cases in the state," Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij said today. This comes a day after Haryana on Saturday registered its biggest single-day jump of 125 deaths due to COVID-19, raising the toll to 4,341, while 13,588 fresh cases pushed the infection count to 5,01,566. The COVID-19 situation in the Gurugram district of Haryana is in an alarming state.
