Hart, who is the tournament's chairman, said Queenstown was the ideal place for the tournament and the golfers really enjoyed the week. It was the 99th Open this week and the prize money had grown to $1.2million. Hart said, ultimately, the aim was to get the prize money to $1.5million but that the event had to be sustainable.
