When the son of the IVF pioneer Lord Winston took a young Harry Styles into the home he shared with his wife, it was meant to last for a fortnight. Styles, who by that point was making it big with One Direction, was buying a house nearby in Hampstead and needed somewhere to stay. Nearly two years later, he was still in Ben and Meredith Winston’s home, sleeping on a mattress in the attic. Styles, 24, will now be executive producer of a sitcom, Happily Together, a fictionalised account of that time. Styles asked if he could stay for two weeks but ended up there for 20 months.
