Barnes and Noble said in a statement that 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' was the U.S. company's most pre-ordered book since 2007's 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' - the final book in the original series. More than 450 million copies of the seven original Harry Potter books have been sold worldwide in 79 languages. Amazon Books said 'Cursed Child' was already its top U.S. pre-order in print and on Kindle e-book of 2016.
