Nilsson said despite staying up at night keeping guard, so far they had been unable to shoot any of the feral dogs. Far North District Council district services manager Dean Myburgh said the council was concerned and felt for the affected farmer. Given farmland, forestry land and DOC land were thought to be involved, a collaborative approach would be needed, he said.
