Harness Racing NSW bans leading owner Harvey Kaplan for 12 months for improper conductVIRGINIA WOOLF Harvey Kaplan has been banned from owning horses for 12 months. Jack was issued with a show cause notice by Harness Racing NSW stewards on Thursday, which he has to reply to by the close of business on Friday. HRNSW was assisted by Harness Racing Victoria in this matter. Only last week Jack pleaded guilty to 37 charges of communication with a disqualified person - Jackson Painting - between January 2015 and October this year issued by Harness Racing Victoria stewards. He was fined $6000, of which $3000 was suspended for 12 months and also slapped with a three-month suspension, which was suspended for 12 months provided he didn't reoffend under the rules for which he was charged.
