The rankings will be used to determine the draw of the 2026 Fifa World Cup qualifiers for the African zone. Kenya have been overtaken by Kazakhstan, Mauritania and Trinidad and Tobago who all had impressive qualifier results for their respective continental tournaments. Argentina, who won the 2022 World Cup, top the world rankings followed by France and Brazil.
