Firefighters and police officers came to the rescue of a puppy trapped under a pile of rocks in North Charleston, South Carolina on Saturday. A video released by the North Charleston Fire Department shows firefighter Captain Paul Bryant of Engine 201 gently coaxing the trapped puppy and gently pulling it out from beneath the rocks. Bryant was rewarded by kisses from the grateful puppy. A group of bikers had heard the puppy cry from under the rocks and alerted the North Charleston Fire Department which sprang into action. The puppy, happy and unhurt, was handed to the cyclists who plan to get a vet to identify its owner through a microchip.
