She then decided to create a show for children, initially staging another Brothers Grimm classic, Sleeping Beauty. Virata shared the company aims to bring children closer to the theater, “Compared to films, stage plays have a sense of immediacy and intimacy that will draw the viewer in and make them part of the story. Repertory brings a new flavor in the theater as it strikes a balance between thought-provoking and entertaining plays that maintains a quality suitable for children.
