Hansal Mehta has adapted a book on the 1992 stock market scam by Harshad Mehta - 'The Scam by Debashis Basu and Sucheta Dalal' for an upcoming film which he has titled 'Scam 1992'. The web series is based on Harshad Mehta and is slated for OTT release on Sony LIV. The teaser of 'Scam 1992' was unveiled. 500 scam has taken place, and the mastermind of it all was Harshad Mehta. Stockbroker Harshad Mehta, who was know as 'the Amitabh Bachchan of Stock Market', was the brains behind Rs 5,000-crore 1992 securities scandal.
