Thousands of lanterns have been hung at the Temple or Literature in Hanoi. The event aims to combine both the past and present, old and new, traditional and modern activities. Dragon dances, mandarin chess and lantern making will be held daily during the festival. Documents and memoirs provided by historians about the old Mid-Autumn Festival will be available.
