KUALA LUMPUR: The Women, Family and Community Ministry is looking at conducting sex education awareness programmes outside schools to combat baby dumping and abortion cases in the country. “So, the ministry is looking at the materials and how we can do awareness programmes without going through the schools," said its Deputy Minister Hannah Yeoh. She was responding to questions on the ministry's response to several baby dumping cases that happened recently. “We are running out of time as the (baby dumping) cases had been increasing and we urge everyone to be proactive in combating this. “If you do not teach your kids about sex, somebody else will and they will learn the wrong thing,” she said.
