In a heartbreaking interview, the Clarkes recounted Baxter would rape Hannah daily while muttering 'awful' things in her ear. 'He pretty well wined and dined her,' Lloyd told The Guardian in a podcast about the coercive control abusive partners exert on their victims. Borrowing his aunt's car so he wouldn't be recognised, Baxter ambushed his family as Hannah took her children to school. Hannah's family refuse to let her death be her only legacy, and started anti-domestic violence charity Small Steps for Hannah.
