Hong Kong blue chips rebounded at the close today, after session during which shares fluctuated heavily. The benchmark Hang Seng Index closed higher by 200.16 points, or 0.87 percent at 23,263.73. The main board turnover was heavy at HK$151.01 billion. In the mainland, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index closed lower at 2,779.64, down by 0.34 percent. The Shenzhen Stock Exchange Composite Index also fell by 10.43 percent at 1,704.74.
