Hong Kong stocks are higher at midday today. The benchmark Hang Seng Index has added 390.59 points, or 1.64 percent at 24,221.92. China Overseas Land & Investment (0688) added 3.83 percent at HK$27.1, becoming the best performer among blue chips. In mainland China, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index is at 2,828.13, higher by 0.70 percent. The Shenzhen Stock Exchange Composite Index is at 1,748.88, up by 0.69 percent.
