Stocks are higher in Hong Kong following a positive clue from Wall Street. The benchmark Hang Seng Index is at 24,104.86, up by 134.49, or 0.56 percentStocks opened with gains. Shares in British bank HSBC (0005) gained by 2.13 percent at HK$40.75. In mainland China, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index is at 2,826.85, higher by 0.41 percent. The Shenzhen Stock Exchange Composite Index is up by 0.73 percent at 1,753.30.
