Stop ducking handgun ban, Oct. 14So the Star editorial board thinks we should ban all handguns. Certainly not the gang bangers and criminals who cause all the indiscriminate havoc with firearms on our city streets. They don’t obey any laws now. No, it would only affect hundreds of thousands of citizens who obey our laws — who are licensed, trained, and take extreme care of their firearms, and use them with great caution. That target is the criminal element, not honest, law-abiding citizens who enjoy shooting sports.
