The median price was down 6.4%, to $5.85m, the report said. Softening sales hit every town and village in the Hamptons, according to Corcoran Group. The number of fourth quarter sales dipped 57% in Bridgehampton and Sagaponack compared to the same 2015 period while the median price in those towns dropped 34% to $2.11m, Corcoran says. In East Hampton and Wainscott the median price of a home fell 15% to $850,000 while the total number of sales in those towns dipped 15%, Corcoran data show.
