Hamilton's mayor has tested negative for COVID-19. Fred Eisenberger began displaying symptoms last Thursday, the mayor's office says. He was tested Friday "out of an abundance of caution," and got the results today. "The mayor would like to thank everyone who sent well wishes over the past few days, and would also like to remind the public that this virus is in our community," his office said in a statement. "We must remain vigilant in maintaining physical distancing, practicing good hygiene such as hand washing and adhering to all public health recommendations."
