Expect winter to dump as much as 15 centimetres of snow on Hamilton today. Environment Canada says there'll be "localized pockets of heavy flurries" from Burlington to Grimsby, Ont., so "significant snowfall is possible." The forecaster says the snow will start this morning and continue into the afternoon, aided by increasing northeast winds. A passing low pressure system will bring more widespread snow early Sunday evening. Most areas will only get five to 10 centimetres, but Hamilton could see as much as 15 centimetres, says a special weather statement from Environment Canada.
