Hamilton captured his sixth pole position at the Chinese Grand Prix on Saturday, edging Sebastian Vettel of Ferrari by less than two-tenths of a second. For the second race in a row, Hamilton also shattered a track record. Hamilton also started from pole position at the Australian GP, but Vettel beat him on race day when Hamilton pitted early and got stuck in traffic and couldn't catch up. Schumacher's old lap record was also beaten by four drivers on Saturday " Hamilton, Vettel, Bottas and Raikkonen. Many drivers failed to set a lap time, including Hamilton, Vettel and Raikkonen.
