The first phase of construction for Kota Kemuning’s traffic dispersal plan at the roundabout began last October and was scheduled to end in September this year. Ang has a sinking feeling that the delay in the first phase will create a spillover effect, delaying the construction of flyovers as part of the traffic dispersal plan for Kota Kemuning. He said the first phase of the traffic dispersal plan would involve safety measures along Persiaran Mokara because there were numerous traffic accidents at the commercial centre due to lack of traffic lights. So far, only the trees along Persiaran Anggerik Mokara have been chopped down but the stumps have yet to be uprooted. Kota Kemuning Residents Association president Allen Lee said the traffic congestion worsened because of the high volume of vehicles at a fast food restaurant’s drive-through facility.
